We print on drywall, concrete, brick, glass, metal, tile, wood, and plaster. Smooth surfaces give the sharpest results; textured surfaces like brick are printable with minor quality variation. We always test a small section first and won't proceed unless we're happy with the result.

UV ink bonds directly to the surface — it is not a sticker or vinyl wrap. Removal depends on the surface: on drywall, two coats of paint will cover it completely. On glass or tile, it can be scraped with a razor blade. On concrete or brick, professional sandblasting or dry-ice blasting removes it cleanly. Think of it as a long-term investment — most of our clients never look back.

Indoor prints are rated for 10+ years without fading or cracking. Outdoor prints use UV-stable inks rated for 3–5 years in Michigan weather conditions — including freeze-thaw cycles and UV exposure. No topcoat or maintenance is required.

No. Our printer is quiet, produces zero airborne overspray, and uses low-VOC UV inks with no harmful fumes. Most commercial installs are completed during regular business hours without disrupting your staff or customers. We’ve printed in occupied hospitals, active school hallways, and open restaurants.

Yes. Our UV-curable inks are low-VOC and meet indoor air quality standards. They are safe for occupied spaces including schools, daycares, pediatric clinics, and family homes. No evacuation, no ventilation requirements, no waiting period before re-occupying the space.

Textured surfaces are printable. The printer adjusts in real time for surface distance using ultrasonic sensors. There will be some visual texture variation in the print on heavily textured surfaces — this is often aesthetically desirable. We always show you a test section before committing to the full wall.

The printer requires approximately 2–4 inches of clearance from walls, ceilings, floors, and corners. We account for this in the design phase — either by incorporating the margin into the design or by masking it with a border element. We’re transparent about these practical limits upfront.

We can apply a white base layer first, ensuring your final colors are vibrant and accurate regardless of the underlying wall color. This adds modest time and cost, but ensures photographic accuracy on any surface — dark, textured, or multicolored.

Outlet and switch cover plates are removed before printing (takes a few minutes) and replaced afterward. Vents and fixed fixtures are masked and incorporated naturally into the design. We handle all of this as part of the standard installation — no extra charge.
